About the Position

 

Metro is an enterprise registered training organisation (RTO) and an industry leader and has built a reputation for quality and consistency of training and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. The Metro Academy are seeking an experienced RTO Manager to lead the RTO Services function. The RTO Manager will lead a small team of RTO compliance professionals to manage risk through coordination of internal audits to ensure services are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations and the requirements of various regulators, including ASQA and ONRSR.
This position is also responsible for working closely with Training Managers to help facilitate the organisation’s strategic goal to develop diverse and inclusive training programs that addresses customer service excellence and Metro’s critical and emerging risks.

About you

 

Our successful candidate will be a leader with proven RTO management experience working in a compliance driven environment. They will have the ability to review and continually improve the RTO activities, programs and service delivery, ensuring that it remains current and underpins effective operations and high levels of quality and service.

To ensure success in this role you will possess:

• Qualification linked to Adult Education or Vocational Education
• Excellent knowledge and experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework (VQF), including reporting requirements such as AVETMISS
• Demonstrated successful experience in managing and leading a team of professionals, in an RTO environment, in pursuit of excellence in service quality and delivery
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal and people skills and be comfortable building rapport, engaging with and influencing all levels of internal and external stakeholders
• Auditing skills to determine VQF compliance levels across the enterprise RTO
• Experience in administration and maintaining learning and student management systems for recording RTO training and compliance activities and requirements
