We are currently seeking a Stations Interface Coordinator to support our North West Program Alliance (NWPA) as part of the Level Crossing Removal Program. Reporting into the Project Manager, you will support the Stations Team’s successful interface between the Alliance, MTM and other third parties to support the delivery of large-scale complex projects on Metro's behalf. 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Support change through successful stakeholder negotiations on behalf on the Alliance while seeking the bets outcome possible between Metro and the project
  • Participate in the Safety in Design process of design packages
  • Participate in and/or chair risk assessment meetings that impact Stations due to construction activities
  • Assist in the standard waiver approval process, including writing and presenting of information to relevant stakeholders
  • Auditing station specifications against actual designs to ensure MTM operations are maintained or enhanced
  • Consult with all stakeholders and interested parties to achieve practical and industrial harmony
  • Be the point of contact for station related issues/concerns between Projects and Passenger Experience
  • Liaise with stakeholders and key MTM internal project groups, operations, maintenance, infrastructure and other associated parties in order to meet project targets objectives and milestones

About You:

 

  • Tertiary education in business management/engineering or relevant experience (5-8 years) within the rail environment
  • Demonstrated Stations/Operations experience and/or Project experience
  • Demonstrated understanding in Project Management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An ability to build relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage competing stakeholder demands across projects.
