As the Level Crossing Removal Project continues to deliver a safer and more efficient train network, the Metro team involved in this large-scale project is expanding to respond to current and future works. About the Role:

 

Metro Trains Level Crossing Removal Team (MLXRT)  have an opportunity for a Lead Transport Analyst to join our Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) Disruptions & Passenger Experience team.This position plays an integral role between multiple stakeholder including the project (Level Crossings), Operations and key suppliers, to enhance and improve all elements of the customer experience and impacts relating to the Level Crossing Removal Program.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

 

  • Responsible for the data analysis portfolio across the Passenger Experience team that includes GPS technology, patronage analysis and performance of replacement plans. With the goal of improving the portfolio both operationally and strategically.
  • Prepare project plans and busing schedules, utilising key data points to drive efficiency.
  • Support leadership with the management of vendor relationships including their performance, establishing reporting mechanisms and operating models.
  • Lead and coordinate key stakeholders to drive performance and strategic improvements.
  • Develop, lead and support operational and strategic initiatives including portfolio wide process improvements.
  • Prepare consolidated budgets, reports and forecasts.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • Experience in reviewing/analysing multiple data sources to enable the improvement of future plans/projects.
  • Ability to build project plans/schedules and to deliver to the published timelines.
  • Experience in leading peers and team toward a common goal/outcome.
  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvements/strategic initiatives.
  • Proven experience in owning key operational, contractual and strategic relationships.
  • Previous experience working in a contract management environment (desired).
  • Logistics/Transport experience desired.
  • Advanced excel skills required.
