About the Role


Metro is currently looking for an Occupations Coordinator to work with the Southern Program Alliance  on the City loop Upgrade project.


The Occupation Coordinator will support the Rail Disruption Manager and facilitate and expedite access to Rail Infrastructure via planned railway track occupations.  This is achieved through ensuring MTM’s standards, policies and procedures relating to rail access and works readiness are adhered to, ensuring the safe management of all people, including the general public and equipment whilst working, visiting or traversing the Rail Corridor in support of Victoria’s ‘Big Build’ Infrastructure Program.

About You

To be a success in the role, you will possess:

  • Level 1 Train Track Safety Awareness
  • Construction Industry Induction Training
  • Experience in a railway system operational or design environment
  • 2 years’ experience with stakeholder engagement across multi - disciplinary organisations
  • Planning/Scheduling and /or Project Management experience desirable.
  • High level of experience in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook. Advanced Excel proficiency is essential.
  • Experience within Victoria Rail Projects would be highly regarded
