ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We currently have an exciting full time permanent opportunity for a Power Platform Developer  to join our OCMS (Technology) team  based at 700 Collins street.

In this role you will provide the capability to implement automated software solutions for Metro processes that streamline data collection, document review, and stakeholder approval processes, while also providing the outputs for intelligent, visual reporting through interactive dashboards. 

The role will report to the Applications Support Manager within OCMS and will work closely with the Projects Interface Manager within the projects division to provide technical expertise across all applications & workflows.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and participate in prioritisation forums with Projects Interface Manager and Applications Support Manager to successfully plan and implement new and updated solutions
  • With the support of the Projects Interface Manager and Applications Support Manager, own, maintain and continuously improve all developed software solutions in accordance with Portfolio and Business requirements and agreed priority.
  • Support the Project Interface Manager and Applications Support Manager to provide exceptional client support to key stakeholders within Portfolio Program teams, Finance and Commercial (F&C), Network Assets (NA) and Engineering and Assurance teams
  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance activities as well as enhancements and improvement work for applications developed on Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint / Dataverse, or other development technologies
  • Support, develop and document ancillary processes associated to these applications, such as Power Automate Workflows, Data Flow Connections, API connections.
  • Follow OCMS processes through all stages of development lifecycle ensuring appropriate review/approvals are obtained

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • Relevant Engineering or Science degree or equivalent e.g.   Data Science, Process Engineering or Software Engineer
  • Accredited Microsoft Power Apps   Developer PL-400 and functional consultant PL-200 with significant knowledge and experience in developing, maintaining and improving software solutions in both Canvas and Model driven type applications.
  • Demonstrate experience in design and build of complex data models.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in the use of Power Automate and the integration into Power Apps.
  • Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel and sharepoint knowledge and ability.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence positive business outcomes.
