About the Apprenticeship Program

You will be placed in a depot and paired with a qualified Signal Maintenance Technician to respond to faults and provide maintenance on all signalling assets.

 

  • Four year training program with practical and theory components
  • Obtain a Cert III in Electrotechnology, A Grade Electrician licence and Cert IV in Rail Signalling
  • Four positions available, start early January 2026
  • Monday to Friday based in Docklands and working at various locations across the Melbourne Metro Train Network

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Experience labouring or unqualified trade experience
  • Completed High School or a Cert II in a building, electrical or related field
  • A current and valid Probationary or Full Victorian Driver’s Licence
