About the Role

 

We are seeking a Business Analyst reporting into the BA Practice Lead who will be responsible for analysing a wide range of complex projects, working closely with business units to understand their business and information needs, and assisting them to resolve their problems/design and implement solutions in a cost effective manner. 
In doing so, you will engage with various stakeholders at all levels across MTM in order to capture, document and validate requirements, business cases and solutions. This will include developing and presenting options to project and client groups.

 

Responsibilities

 

•    Investigate and document business requirements using a range of tools, such as JIRA and Confluence, and techniques including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process analysis, scenarios, and task/workflow analysis. 
•    Develop key artefacts as required by the project, including scoping documents, requirement documents, user stories, project briefs, feasibility analyses, process maps, communications plans, operational/user documentation, prototypes etc.  
•    Identify and interview relevant stakeholders who may have an interest in, or may be affected by, the problem or solution, complete stakeholder impact analyses and facilitate group workshops where necessary. 
•    Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to propose the business and technical solution designs (including as is and to-be business processes), bearing in mind trade-offs between usability, performance and time/cost. 
•    Facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders, using feedback to assess and promote understanding of the need for future changes in services, products and systems.  
•    Act as liaison between the Business Units, technology teams and support teams. 
 

About You

 

•    A relevant postgraduate qualification with 5+ year’s relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. 
•    Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
•    Extensive ability to identify, assess and support stakeholders needs and how to best engage strategically to achieve project goals and objectives.
•    Thorough understanding and extensive business analysis experience on complex IT related projects. 
•    Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification or equivalent desirable.
