About the Role

The purpose of this role is to lead the development and execution of change management strategies and plans and embed change for one or more program streams across OCMS. The Change and Communication Practice lead manages a Change and Communications practice team that works collaboratively in OCMS and across MTM to design, execute and lead technology change efforts of varying size and complexity. This position will also be accountable for working on transformation to ensure messaging is effective, engaging and adopted in order that internal and external messaging to stakeholders propels OCMS’s brand and image.

Responsibilities

Resource allocation on change initiatives for the team
•    Ensure projects apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities to support project delivery and implementation, incorporating:
o    Stakeholder management plans
o    Communications
o    Business impact assessments and transition planning 
o    Organisational readiness assessments and resistance management plans 
o    Training and performance support
•    Work collaboratively with the OCMS PMO to:
o    Ensure that a standardised and consistent approach to change management is adopted, including the use of the MTM change management methodology, tools and templates
 

About You

•    Relevant tertiary studies or qualifications of a suitable business discipline, preferably with change or organisational development focus 
•    Change management experience in a technology environment with a successful track record leading large organisational change management programs for a major corporate or government entity in a project environment
•    Skilled across the full suite of change management deliverables, stakeholder management, communications, building change networks, impact assessments and transition planning, training and benefits management.
•    Change Management certification ie Prosci
