Our Operational Control Management System Department (OCMS) maintains an extensive range of ICT and OT systems for the reliable and safe delivery of Train Services. The metropolitan network is experiencing a significant amount of changes and upgrades to improve the services provided to the Melbourne public.

The Position

This position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term arrangement as the incumbent will be taking an extended period of leave.

Reporting to the Change & Communications Manager, this position is responsible for developing and delivering targeted change management and communication plans and activities to support projects provided by OCMS.

Daily, the responsibilities involve:

  • Stakeholder Analysis & Engagement
  • Change Plan/Strategy
  • Change Impact Assessments
  • Communication Plan
  • Writing Communications and Work Instructions
  • Facilitation / Training to support project implementation

About You

Ideally, the successful candidate will possess the following;

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications
  • Demonstrated change management or combined change/communications experience
  • Proven skills and knowledge in managing change for high profile transformation programs
  • Experience of IR and ER matters in operational environments with blue-collar workforces preferred
