About the Role

Join Metro’s Passenger Services team as a Contract Lead and help shape the services that support station presentation and the passenger experience.

Reporting to the Head of Resourcing and Contracts, you’ll manage contracts and supplier relationships, ensuring services are delivered safely, meet contractual requirements and provide value for money.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Contribute to tendering and contract negotiations and manage the ongoing performance of Passenger Services contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance against service standards, KPIs, budgets and contractual obligations.
• Manage contract risks, variations, claims, invoices and purchase orders.
• Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to improve service quality and passenger outcomes.
• Coach and support your team to deliver consistent, passenger-focused outcomes.

About You

You’re a collaborative leader with strong commercial judgement and the confidence to manage complex contracts and supplier relationships. You’ll bring:

• Experience managing commercial contracts and substantial budgets.
• Strong financial acumen and experience negotiating with suppliers.
• The ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
• Sound analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of procurement and contract management practices.
• A degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, law or a related discipline.

Experience in rail, asset management, project or program management, or another complex, regulated environment will be highly regarded.
