About the role

We an exciting opportunity for a Financial & Commercial Analyst to work with the Commercial Lead to support OCMS financial reporting, data and insights for the strategic planning for OCMS and any Metro Tunnel Project OCMS reporting and analysis.

This role will be based from 700 Collins.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll partner with the Commercial Lead to maintain, update and enhance the reconciliation framework to ensure a seamless transition as part of the end of franchise
  • Supporting with the financial forecasting and delivering insights and commercial modelling to support the leadership teams with risk mitigation
  • You’ll support with variation analysis and contribution with commercial outcomes aligned with variation cost models and submissions to DTP
  • Support the wider OCMS finance and Commercial team with identifying process improvements including automation reporting and dashboards

 

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business or Program Management
  • CA/CPA/IIBA (or equivalent) status or currently in the process of getting qualification
  • Strong experience as Commercial/Finance Analyst
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • Proven analytical background
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience in implementing financial & business process changes
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
