GRADUATE ENGINEER (Electrical / Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineers)
- Completed Bachelor/Masters of Engineering in 2024
- Start June 2025 / 2 year max term contract / 38 hours per week / Monday - Friday
- Free Myki Pass that allows free Public Transport in Victoria
- Starting salary package of $90,000 (Laptop, Phone, PPE provided)
- Engineers Australia membership paid by Metro
- Must have full working rights until June 2027 to be eligible

At Metro we can offer you two years of continuous support and on the job training to learn how we move Melbourne. You’ll be taking on meaningful responsibilities from day one and be exposed to a variety of opportunities, initiatives, and critical projects.
You will get a first-hand behind the scenes experience with 6 monthly rotations to find your passion across the following divisions;
- Rolling Stock (trains)
- Infrastructure
- Office of the Chief Engineer
- Operational Control & Management Systems
- Projects
Ongoing Key Projects
- Level Crossing Removals
- Metro Tunnel Project (opening late 2025}
- Introduction of new trains
