About the role

 

Looking to advance your career? We’re seeking a skilled Motor Fitter to become part of our team.


In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing MTM vehicles, plant, and mechanical equipment across multiple departments—ensuring optimal performance and supporting our operational success.

 

  • Permanent full-time
  • Located at E-Gate (Docklands)
  • Free parking on-site

 

Key role responsibilities

 

  • Perform repairs and servicing on plant, vehicles, and equipment in line with competencies and company standards.
  • Conduct inspections and report damaged or missing items; complete pre-hire and post-hire checks.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure all assets are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.
  • Support staff in the proper use and care of equipment.
  • Monitor and manage spare parts to ensure timely repairs.
  • Report issues to the Supervisor and assist with on-site equipment delivery and collection.
  • Use scanning devices as required and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Participate in training and contribute to achieving performance objectives.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and low voltage electrical circuits and components.
  • Diesel Mechanic trade qualification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of computer-based maintenance and asset management systems.
  • Skilled in planning, coordinating, and executing repairs on vehicles, plant, and equipment.
  • Ability to schedule and plan work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to.
