About the role

 

You will lead a group of four in managing passenger information both on-network and digitally, ensuring clear and timely communications for our passengers. You'll oversee brand management, design, and communication frameworks to support initiatives and drive continuous improvement. By leveraging insights and industry best practices, you'll enhance our communication strategies, ensuring all messaging aligns with our brand & voice, and meets the Department of Transport and Planning guidelines.


This is a full-time, permanent position based at 700 Collins Street with a hybrid work arrangement. Occasional travel to depots across the Metro Network will be necessary to collaborate with your stakeholders. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support the planning and delivery of consistent, high-quality passenger information across all channels, focusing on governance, continuous improvement, and alignment with service changes.
  • Lead brand management, campaign delivery, and communications frameworks to ensure clear, timely messaging and a strong passenger-facing identity.
  • Collaborate with the Department of Transport and Planning and internal teams to align campaigns, style guides, and passenger information with strategic goals.
  • Manage creative briefs and external agencies to produce effective passenger information and campaigns.
  • Use passenger insights and data to improve communication through targeted, personalised approaches.
  • Ensure all on-network and digital assets meet brand standards and contractual requirements, supporting staff in brand usage and execution.

 

About you

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field
  • Significant experience in senior marketing roles and leading teams within a complex and multi-stakeholder environment
  • Strong experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaign
  • Strong analytical, research and communication skills to inform planning and engagement
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in influencing others to achieve successful outcomes.
