About the Role
We are pleased to advise we have a secondment opportunity for a People Services Specialist position. This is a secondment opportunity until May 2026
As a People Services Specialist, you will work within a small but impactful team and will be responsible for delivering high-quality people administration advice to managers, employees, Business Partners, Talent and third-party providers on People systems, processes and policies. Collaborating closely with the broader People and Payroll teams, the People Services Specialist manages a wide range of people-related queries and tasks associated with the employee lifecycle as well as providing comprehensive customer support which includes the promotion of self-service resources and process improvement opportunities.
This is a key role within the team and this secondment provides a great opportunity to contribute to the overall success of a few key People initiatives at a really dynamic time for People Services and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
- · Use audit reporting to manage regular processes and review compliance, including maximum term contract end dates, key date changes, workflows, and progression management.
- · Build strong stakeholder relationships across designated client groups.
- · Accountable for supporting the People Services Manager to improve and maintain core processes
- · Responsible for providing advice and administrative support to People Services’ client group.
- · Ensure compliance and adherence to applicable policies, procedures, industrial agreements, and legislation.
- · Review, triage, and action queries related to employment contracts, letters, policies, and procedures as appropriate, ensuring clear communication and status updates are provided to customers as queries are processed
- · Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data within People information systems, whilst maintaining the strictest level of confidentiality.
- · Process staff movement and employment changes, updating records accordingly in People systems
- · Contribute to People projects and cyclical administration activities such as performance reviews, audits, and purchase leave.
- · Escalate complex issues appropriately for resolution.
About You
- · Experience in, customer service, administration and coordination.
- · Understanding of Human Resources functions including policies, procedures, employment conditions, compensation, recruitment, and payroll processes would be advantageous.
- · Strong attention to detail, prioritisation skills, and ability to adhere to timelines, managing workload efficiently to meet deadlines even amidst changing circumstances.
- · Commitment to maintaining strict discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
- · Ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to whilst managing complex situations, having solid problem solving and negotiating skills.
- · Ability to communicate effectively verbally & written will all levels of stakeholders.
- · Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as a team member to achieve goals.
- · Strong written communication skills, with an ability to write general correspondence, Well-developed interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport, interact effectively at all levels and provide support and advice.
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software systems, or the ability and willingness to learn.
