About the Role:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Plant and Equipment, Facilities Coordinator to manage, maintain, and govern data within relevant systems for Rolling Stock Plant and Equipment assets. This role ensures that accurate and reliable information is available to inform the planning of maintenance and improvements, ensuring optimal asset performance and compliance with safety standards.

 

This is a 2 year, maximum term opportunity. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and process Plant & Equipment work orders and completions, ensuring accurate and timely tracking.
  • Create and maintain Maintenance Scheduled Tasks within the AMIS, aligning inspections with business requirements.
  • Ensure AMIS data is consistently updated, including asset service due dates, inspection results, and maintenance records.
  • Identify, resolve, and close out Plant & Equipment faults and defects to ensure accurate asset condition representation.
  • Review supplier service records to verify maintenance completion and facilitate accurate invoice approval.
  • Record inspection results and actions. Schedule and ensure updates to the asset register as needed.
  • Provide calibration and height safety inspection results to stakeholders when required.
  • Process requisitions, invoices, and liaise with suppliers while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

 

  • Proven experience with Ariba and Ellipse
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail, multitasking, and accuracy
  • Experience managing work orders, maintenance scheduling, and asset management systems

 

Preferred:

  • Tertiary qualification in Financial or Business Management
  • Experience using Avetta
  • Knowledge of Rail Safety legislation
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of MTM’s procurement processes
