About the role
We are seeking an experienced Risk Coordinator to support the Southern Program Alliance Level Crossings team with the implementation and controls for Metro’s risk management strategies. This role will ensure that Level Crossing systems safety assurance processes to minimise risk and maximise opportunities within the projects.
Please note this is a 12 month max-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- You’ll provide safety assurance to a range of different stakeholders across Engineering, Project Management and the Safety Systems Assurance team which will include considerations for Human Factors within delivery and operations
- Support development and management of Project Hazard Logs, Safety Derived Requirements and Change Registers to cover all facets
- Provide support with development of risk registers, facilitation of risk workshops and participate with hazard identification and analysis
- You’ll plan and conduct system safety verification and validation inline with legislative and regulatory requirements
- You’ll provide spport with developing and maintaining systems safety assurance documentation
Qualifications
- Relevant work experience within System Safety Assurance processes in a construction or engineering setting
- You’ll have experience facilitating risk assessment workshops and identification of risk reduction strategies and demonstrated experience in the development of hazard analysis and risk assessment’s
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery incorporating risk management.
- Have strong communication skills and effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders to build trusted relationships
- Critical thinking, analytical assessment and problem-solving abilities
- Strong capabilities in consultation and interpersonal relationships management
