About the Role

 


We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst on a 12 months max term basis for a large transformational project that will support the business transition from manual processes to automated processes for a critical business function. You will ensure the future state business requirements are clearly articulated and agreed, which will be key, as these business requirements will form the basis of the functional implementation and verification of the solution. The role will collaborate closely with various project team members and business representatives at all levels across MTM to ensure the project delivers to the expectations of the key stakeholders and related business areas. 

Responsibilities

 

•    Investigate and document business requirements using a range of tools, such as JIRA and Confluence, and techniques including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process analysis and  scenarios/workflow analysis. 
•    Develop key artefacts as required by the project, including scoping documents, requirement documents, user stories, process maps and data maps, and where required support communications plans, operational/user documentation etc.  
•    Identify and interview relevant stakeholders who may have an interest in, or may be affected by, the solution and support them through the transition to ensure their needs and requirements are met. 
•    Become an ‘expert’ in the new system at the functional, configuration and data level, including integrations with other systems.
•    Collaborate with the vendor and subject matter experts to ensure the requirements are understood, including as is and to-be business processes.
•    Act as liaison between the business stakeholders, technology teams and the vendor.
•    Lead the business analysis activities and support change, training and test activities as required.

About You

 

•    Experience working on a large and complex transformational project as the lead Business Analyst where you have managed numerous priorities and tight timeframes.
•    Ability to understand an application at a detailed functional level and experience working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and triaging these with vendors and Solution Architects to ensure the data integrations and system configurations support those requirements.
•    Experience documenting as-is processes and business scenarios and translating these into to-be processes.
•    Be able to support the business through significant business process change and supporting change and communication activities.
•    Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall environments.
