About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to play a critical role in strengthening OPD’s commercial governance and maximising value under the Franchise Agreement. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role leads the uplift and end‑to‑end management of Schedule 3 processes and claims, ensuring submissions are accurate, defensible, timely and optimised for MTM outcomes.

This is a highly influential role that works closely with MTM, DTP, Strategic Partnering, Finance and operational leaders to protect value and support strong commercial decision‑making.

This is a max term opportunity for 2 year period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the uplift, redesign and end‑to‑end management of Schedule 3 processes, claims and governance frameworks
  • Build and manage a structured Schedule 3 claims pipeline, ensuring visibility, prioritisation and contractual compliance
  • Prepare and submit high‑quality, defensible Schedule 3 claims that are accurate, well supported and audit‑ready
  • Prepare or support preparation of other commercial claims including DEAP, SAP, Major Events and labour‑related submissions
  • Act as a key conduit between MTM and DTP, providing clear and transparent explanations of claim methodologies, calculations and assumptions
  • Partner with Strategic Partnering, Senior FBPs and operational leaders to deliver commercial insight supporting budgeting, forecasting and value protection
  • Strengthen governance, controls, documentation and process consistency, identifying opportunities to reduce risk, leakage and manual effort

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial, financial or contract management roles within complex operational environments
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial, operational or financial analysis
  • Advanced modelling and data interpretation skills
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, governance frameworks and key cost drivers
  • Experience documenting processes and improving consistency across commercial workflows
  • Ability to work effectively with non‑financial stakeholders and influence decision‑making
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to roster costing methodologies or workforce analytics (desirable)
