The Position:


Reporting to the Head of People – Operations & Passenger Delivery, the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for the design and delivery of efficient and effective end to end recruitment solutions for specialist and technical positions in order to support delivery of MTM’s current and future work/projects of the division. Key accountabilities in the role include:


  • Leading a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists/Advisors to deliver end to end recruitment in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Responsible for the implementation of a divisional sourcing strategy using appropriate attraction techniques and building internal capability by working with relevant stakeholders and striving for best business outcomes of the division
  • Building large scale recruitment campaigns and bulk recruitment solutions
  • Partnering with senior leadership teams to ensure the right talent is being recruited, or internally moved, at the right time considering business objectives, workforce planning strategies and the principles of merit based selection
  • Create enhanced reporting and visibility of Talent Acquisition activities

About You:


  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/ Human Resource or other relevant discipline
  • Extensive recruitment experience in rail or heavy industry recruitment specialised in blue and white collar employees.
  • Experience leading teams and driving positive change within a complex environment
  • Knowledge of recruitment function with proven capacity to work within applicable legislation, policy and guidelines
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking system in order to deliver proficient recruitment campaigns.
