About the Role
We’re seeking a qualified Signal Maintenance Technician to carry out reactive and preventative maintenance in line with technical maintenance plans and servicing schedules, with accurate reporting in the maintenance management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fault response and rectification as allocated by Fault Officers
- Install, maintain and modify signalling and communications equipment
- Complete maintenance, testing and installation activities to required standards
- Enter and maintain accurate data in fault and maintenance systems
- Support investigations and reporting of signalling incidents and faults
- Work independently or in a team under limited supervision of OICs or Supervisors
- Use fault history and diagnostics to identify and resolve recurring issues
About You
- Cert IV in Railway Signalling (SMT qualified)
- Qualified S&C Officer or S&C Technician
- Current TFPC 3.1 accreditation
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Strong technical knowledge across signalling systems and maintenance
- Sound understanding of train operations and safeworking practices
