Metro Trains Melbourne is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Supply Coordinators to join our Infrastructure team on a 12 month max term opportunity.

Based at our E-Gate office in Docklands, this role plays a key part in supporting operational delivery through the coordination of resources, suppliers, and financial processes. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will ensure the timely and accurate management of third party labour and plant requirements across a range of infrastructure works. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process High Volume labour, safe‑working, and plant requests accurately and efficiently in line with MTM processes and procedures, ensuring requests are progressed within tight timeframes
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of resources and services
  • Prepare, update, and maintain multiple supplier reports and spreadsheets, contributing accurate data and information to support management reporting
  • Working autonomously to ensure timely resolution while escalating issues where required
  • Work collaboratively across teams and provide guidance to managers on operational enquiries and process
  • Required to Track requests from initial submission through to booking and updating all systems

 

About You

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and capability
  • Proven experience coordinating high volume of Requests and Changes and maintaining accurate end-to-end data tracking
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
