About the role

 

We are seeking an experience Technical Writers to support the delivery of business readiness activities. This role will play an integral role in the development, editing and publication of procedures, management plans, assurance documentation and work instructions relevant to the new Metro Tunnel.

 

You’ll work collaboratively and build strong relationship with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SME) to review, develop and support the implementation of artefacts within the Project and wider business areas. This role will require the management of content uploaded to Sharepoint and will be required to support artefacts managing requirements for operational readiness activities.

 

Please note this is a Max-Term opportunity for 6 months, there are multiple positions available.

 

  • Developing project procedures associated with processes and supportive artefacts
  • Create alignment and integration of other divisions processes including the submission of documentation relevant to the delivering teams
  • Ensure that all management plans, process and procedures are compliance and endorsed by the accountable division
  • You’ll ensure that all artefacts are managed and updated in accordance with the current document control process and safety interface agreements
  • Support the requirements of management activities which are not limited to the publishing, implementation and established artefacts

 

 

About you

 

  • Qualification in Technical writing, Communication, Projects, or software development will be highly regarded
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience with document authoring and configuration tools as well as graphic skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of document production, publication, standards and methodologies
  • You’ll have experience grasping complex technical concepts and be able to translate into documented form
  • Communicate with influence to build relationships with a range of stakeholders across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong experience using Microsoft suite such as Word and Sharepoint
