Position Purpose Statement
Reporting to the Network Operations Training and Compliance Manager, this role supports the training and compliance needs of the department and its team members.
About the Role
Some of the duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end training administration process for both face-to-face and online training delivered by the Network Operations Training team.
- Monitor and track compliance training requirements, ensuring staff remain compliant with regulatory and safety training.
- Coordinate with internal and external training providers for the planning and scheduling of behavioural, safety, and regulatory training courses for network staff.
- Work closely with the Network Operations Training Manager and team members to develop and maintain training schedules for BAU, project-related, and ad hoc training sessions.
- Maintain an up-to-date training calendar, ensuring room bookings, instructor availability, and participant lists are well-organized.
- Create and maintain dashboards to provide graphical insights on training room availability, participant completion rates, compliance gaps, and overall training effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain basic online learning courses within the LMS, ensuring training content is engaging and aligned with organizational needs.
- Utilize Power BI or similar analytics tools to present training data in a visual format for training and compliance reporting and decision-making.
About You (Key Criteria)
To be considered for this role, you need to demonstrate a range of experience by responding to the following Key Criteria:
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey training information to participant, stakeholders, trainers, and subject matter experts.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, trainers, and subject matter experts to coordinate training requirements and report on training outcomes.
- Training and Development
- An understanding of training and development principles, methodologies, and best practices is essential. This includes adult learning theory, instructional design, training delivery methods, and evaluation techniques.
- Organization and Planning:
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage training schedules efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise multiple training programs and deadlines.
- Technological Proficiency:
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) (preferably Cornerstone LMS) for training administration and reporting.
- Proficiency with training software, scheduling tools, and data analytics platforms such as Power BI or similar.
