We are seeking an experienced and people focussed professional to take on the role of MTP Station Readiness Manager, to be responsible for ensuring all Metro Tunnel Project  (MTP) station readiness activities are defined, developed and executed in preparedness for Trial Operations and Day 1 Revenue services on the Metro Tunnel Project.  Other key duties will include:

  • Lead the definition, development and management of the Stations Trial Operations program of work to facilitate the successful delivery of MTP stations for Day 1.
  • Identify and develop testing and exercise plans for station trial operations (utilising the MTP Station Operating Manual as a guide). Identify and define station Procedure Validation exercises (PVE) and success criteria for each PVE.
  • Manage and facilitate station operational readiness exercises to support stakeholders to prepare to operate new station assets and systems and capabilities being delivered.
  • Track progress and performance of station trial operations activities against defined milestones and report on progress, risks, mitigations and escalation of issues through existing governance channels when required.
  • Review and influence station operational readiness and commissioning requirements to ensure these are covered in the safety assurance process and risks are effectively identified and mitigated.

 

About You

You will be a highly effective communicator with proven leadership experience within live Operations environment and/or a similar background. In addition, you will possess:

  • An ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to
  • An ability to effectively engage and influence across a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous experience in developing, managing and executing rail/station operational strategies, will be highly regarded.
