Metro Trains Melbourne is seeking an experienced Team Leader – Timetable Delivery to join our Operations Planning team.
In this key leadership role, you’ll guide the team responsible for developing, validating and delivering timetable changes across Melbourne’s metropolitan rail network. This includes planning for infrastructure works, special events, service alterations, operational disruptions and other network requirements.
You’ll play an important role in ensuring timetable outcomes are safe, compliant and operationally effective, while creating a supportive team environment through coaching, collaboration and ongoing development.

About You
You’ll bring experience in timetable planning, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively to deliver quality outcomes in a complex operational environment.
We’re looking for someone who can bring a combination of the following skills and experience:
- Experience in timetable development and publication within a TMS environment
- Knowledge of train timetabling principles, rail operations and network requirements
- Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes within required timeframes
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build collaborative working relationships
- Experience supporting and developing others through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement.
